Women's sizes: Pinup and Ibiza

Pinup and Ibiza come up small: go one size up from your usual clothing size. If you wear a 44, choose a 46. Stick to your usual size only if you want a very snug fit.

Ibiza has more coverage at the back and gives more support and tummy control; the sizing rule is the same. Maui, New York, Bondi and Malibu are true to size: go one up if you prefer less compression.

Men's sizes: H2otto, Ucla and Alaska

H2otto: clothing size 46 is an L, 48 is an XL, and so on. Ucla and Alaska are true to your clothing size.

All have a drawstring waist: if you don't like a tight suit, take one size up so it's comfortable around the thighs too.

Training swimwear

Pinup, Ibiza, Maui, H2otto and Ucla are made of PBT, 100% polyester; Milano and the BONESWIMMER x Vira capsule (New York, Alaska, Bondi, Malibu) of 51% recycled polyester and 49% PBT. There is no elastane in the yarn: the suit resists chlorine and keeps its shape and colour for a long time, even with daily use. The exact composition of each piece is on its product page, under ‘Materials and care’.

To do their job they have to fit like a second skin: it's normal to struggle getting them on. In the water everything settles and the suit feels comfortable and stays put.

Beach and leisure swimwear

Alte, Dega, Milano, the Santorini, Tahiti, Big Sur, Hawaii and Papeete bikinis, the Samoa swim shorts and the kids' beach swimwear contain some elastane: they are easier to put on and comfortable out of the water too, all day long. Choose your usual clothing size: over time the fabric adapts to your body.

These pieces are sensitive to chlorine: always rinse them straight after the pool.

Care, for all swimwear

Rinse in plenty of cold water after every use (chlorine, salt water, sun cream) and leave to air-dry, away from heat and direct sun. That way lining, seams and colours stay like new.

Care
Rinse in fresh water after every use, do not wring, dry in the shade away from heat. No washing machine, tumble dryer or fabric softener.

Silicone or fabric swimming cap: which should I choose?

A silicone cap is stretchy and holds firmly, the classic choice for the pool. Fabric caps are made of Sydney Eco, 51% recycled polyester and 49% PBT, and are soft to wear. Choose silicone for more grip, fabric for more comfort.

Can I match the cap to my swimsuit?

Yes: many caps have the same print as the swimsuits, so your pool kit matches. You can also choose a plain colour.

Can I return a cap?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if it has not been used. Personalised caps cannot be returned.
